I'm glad to be able to take part in Project Play because this stuff -- understanding and using digital technology, plus having to follow written directions -- scares me. Of what, exactly? Looking silly? Revealing myself as a fake? I come from a family that considers changing a lightbulb a major triumph. I'm not kidding. Ask my brother. It took me til age 40 to think about going to library school because my status as a fake might become public. So let me just say it: I am faking my way through digital life.
Wow! I said it. That's a relief. And thank you, Project Play people, for a gentle way into 2.0.

Welcome, Jill! It's a brave thing you're doing - and I hope "PP2.0" turns out to be fun!
